Jurong Bird Park’s overnight camp was a wonderful experience for the children, full of fun while fostering lasting friendships. What was so amazing about the camp is the “growing up” children did while they were there. It was also a great opportunity for children to get out and about and have hands-on learning about the amazing world of birds.
Children got to venture into the world’s largest Lory Loft Flight Aviary and learn about these chatty parrots, their habitat and diet. They also prepared lory feed for a feeding frenzy and enjoyed an up-close experience with the colourful lories! Besides that, they put their little hands into use and learnt how to set up up their very own tent with their teachers and friends. Spending the night with the penguins was an experience that we will never forget!
